This page explains what personal data Bytelegion collects through bytelegion.site and its services, why, for how long, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short because we collect little.
Who we are
The controller is Bytelegion OÜ, registry code 16905507, Männimäe/1, Pudisoo küla, Kuusalu vald, Harju maakond, 74626 Estonia. For anything about your data, write to info@bytelegion.site.
Contact forms
When you write to us through the forms on the home page or on the hosting page, we receive your name, your email address, the site you mention, the kind of help you need and your message.
We use them only to answer you and, if you ask, to prepare an offer. The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before a contract and our legitimate interest in replying to messages.
The site does not store the form in a database: it is delivered to our mailbox as an email through Resend, an email delivery service. We keep the conversation as long as it is useful to follow up on your request and delete it within 24 months of the last exchange, unless it leads to a contract.
Flusso waitlist
If you join the Flusso waitlist we store your email address and the language of the page in a contact list held by Resend, and we receive a notification by email.
We use it only to tell you when Flusso opens and to send you news about its launch. The legal basis is your consent: you can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in our emails or by writing to us, and we delete the address.
Hosting customers
If you buy a hosting plan, your account, billing and support data are kept in our client area (clients.bytelegion.site), which runs WHMCS on our own server. Card and wallet payments are handled by our payment provider: we do not see or store full card numbers.
We process these data to provide the service and to meet our accounting and tax obligations, and we keep invoices and accounting records for the period required by Estonian law (currently seven years).
For the content of the websites we host, including any personal data your visitors leave there, we act as a processor on your behalf and only on your instructions.
Visiting this site
bytelegion.site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web server it records technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. This is our legitimate interest, and Vercel keeps these logs for a short time.
The site uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies, and it loads its fonts from our own domain. Links to the App Store, to our client area or to other websites take you to services with their own privacy policies.
If you choose to contact us on WhatsApp, the conversation also goes through WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms. We use it only to answer you.
Who else handles your data
Resend (email delivery and the waitlist), Vercel (website hosting) and our payment provider act as our processors. Some of them are based in the United States: transfers outside the European Economic Area rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent you gave. Write to info@bytelegion.site and we answer within one month.
You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee) or to the data protection authority of the country where you live.
Changes
If what we do with personal data changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
